7 a.m. - Registration Begins - Venue Map
7:30 a.m. - Competitions Begin
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Trade Show
12 to 2 p.m. - Find the Gnomes - It’s your chance to win a Flip Videocam!
2 to 3 p.m. - Pecha Kucha - Vote for your favorite! Watch fast-paced five-minute presentations where students talk on topics of their choice.
3 to 4 p.m. - Networking Hour
4 to 5 p.m. - Awards Reception
The trade show features sponsors and other local companies and educational institutions.
The networking hour encourages students to meet and mingle with event sponsors and industry leaders from companies such as Accenture, AMD, Avnet, Inc., Dynamic Worldwide Training Consultants, Intertec Consulting, In-Win, Microsoft, Premise One, RedPrairie, SRP, STMicroelectronics, TelTech Networks, Inc., Verizon, VMware and Xilinx. Captains of industry also have the opportunity to get a look at tomorrow’s leaders and hear fresh perspectives on product design and marketing.
The day’s events culminate in an awards reception, where the winning students are announced and awarded their scholarships and prizes. Sponsors have the opportunity to mingle with participating students, faculty members, administrators, Avnet executives and other corporate leaders.
