Hello to All Android App Challenge participants

We are really excited that you are interested in trying your hand at Android™ development with hopes of winning the scholarship! For those of you who have not had the opportunity to work Android™ SDK yet, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. A lot of thought has been put into the design of the SDK. Android™ promotes good design practices by making it easy for you to separate the view from the logic and model of your program. I encourage you to read about the intended usage of the framework (http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/fundamentals.html) before developing your program.

Hi Everyone, My name is Steve

Hi Everyone,

My name is Steve Warsa and I am the game owner for the Android™ App Challenge. I am involved with all aspects of this game including creating the functional requirements and the judging criteria for the app that you will develop. We are very excited about this challenge and are anxious to see how many people sign up to participate! It will be fun to see what the students are able to create with this new mobile application development kit (Android™).

I would encourage you to ask any questions you may have on the details of the game and I will answer them.
